Kannan Sugantharaman

Kannan Sugantharaman is the Chief Financial and Operations Officer at Mastech Digital, a leading provider of digital transformation and IT talent solutions. Since joining in April 2025, Kannan has been instrumental in driving enterprise-wide transformation, integrating financial discipline with operational excellence to accelerate Mastech’s evolution into a Data and AI-focused services company. He oversees the company’s global Finance, Operations, HR, Technology Transformation, and Governance functions.

With over 25 years of experience across financial management, business leadership, and operational strategy, Kannan brings a unique blend of strategic vision and execution focus. Prior to Mastech, he served as the CFO of Omega Healthcare, where he led global finance, governance, and investor relations, and spearheaded a multi-year business transformation initiative spanning Sales, Delivery, Finance, HR, M&A, and Technology. Earlier, he held senior leadership roles at Cognizant Technology Solutions and Sutherland Global Services, and began his career at KPMG.

Beyond the corporate realm, Kannan is deeply committed to community development. He plays an active role in grassroots social impact initiatives focused on education, livelihoods, and women’s empowerment, and serves as Director of Community Service (Development) at the Rotary Club of Madras East.

Kannan is a Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
