PROJECT MANAGER

Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility in managing scope, cost, schedule and deliverables according to contract with focus on quality
• Devise and manage project plan, staffing needs, budget and risk plan
• Act as liaison between geographically distributed project teams. Build collaboration within project team among Solution Architect, BA, Development and QA teams that represents One Mastech InfoTrellis team
• Adopt industry standard best practices while adhering to Mastech InfoTrellis processes & procedures
• To ensure compliance with client project processes and establish good working relationship with other client vendors and contractors
• Work with client project manager & stakeholders in forecasting program roadmap and identifying opportunities
• Track and report regular project progress, slippage, effort and other key metrics
• Communicate effectively with clients in identifying requirements and evaluate solution options
• Understand Mastech InfoTrellis pricing model and billing procedures

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Flexibility for 50% travel, mostly within North America
• PMI PMP certification preferred
• Knowledge in various SDLC models such as Waterfall, Iterative and Agile
• Experience in managing development or integration projects involving MDM, Java, J2EE technologies
• Expertise in using MS Project or other tools such as Confluence, Rally etc
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills with executive presence
• Knowledge in drafting artifacts such as Statement of Work, Change Request and Executive Status Reports
